The sword is one of the earliest weapons used in battle, and one of the original Greek Olympic sports.
Fencing is a sport for young or old and both sexes, and has long been an international sport. Most regular fencers attend clubs and fence in regional and national events. It's a great way of keeping fit without the risks of other sports - and an excellent way to show your individuality! We provide all the equipment beginners need, and all that we ask is that you wear a loose pair of jogging bottoms and light soled trainers.

We enjoy a close relationship with the award-winning 'Seaxe' fencing club here, and their fully-accredited coach from England Fencing.
